American pop trio Lady Antebellum has announced the launch of LadyAID, a charity to benefit children around the world.

Dave Haywood of the band commented 'By establishing LadyAID, we're going to be able to put a new focus on accomplishing an off-stage goal we have as a band, which is to help children in need'. An inaugural Ping Pong & Songs event is planned for early next year to promote donations towards the cause.
